A fresh new sound for AC playlists from the west coast of Canada.
Baylii is an artist residing on the coast of British Columbia, getting ready to deliver his full LP having just released the debut single, “I’m Gonna Miss Ya”. The song was written in between Horseshoe Bay and Sechelt on the Sunshine Coast in the midst of heartbreak from his high school sweetheart. The title “I’m Gonna Miss Ya” might seem like a cliché heartwarming title but the lyrics “telling me I was the only one,” imply a deeper meaning that far too many people might relate to.
“I feel a lot of empathy to those going through a breakup during these unprecedented times”, says Baylii.
Baylii might be new to the scene as a solo artist but his past projects have landed him deals with Vancouver Tourism, Nissan Canada, and a nomination for the best urban song (Summer Vibes) at the CMW Awards. As a live artist, he has performed twice at the Commodore Ballroom, Vancouver Island Folk Fest, Salmon Arm Roots and Blues, Mariposa, and has toured from coast to coast. He is anything but new to the Canadian music experience.
The full LP is expected to release in early 2021.
